Questions
Does AI upscaling really add detail?
It rebuilds edges and textures so an enlarged photo looks sharp instead of blurry. It cannot recover information the camera never captured, such as an unreadable number plate.
How long does it take?
A few seconds to a minute per photo, depending on its size and your device. The first time, your browser downloads the AI model once (about 4 MB).
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The AI model runs in your browser on your device. Your photo never leaves it.
What is the largest output?
Up to 4096 pixels on the long side. Bigger photos are fitted to that first so phones do not run out of memory.
